BBUZBY

DRAFT FOR ADMINISTRATOR APPROVAL

Buzby alpha privacy notice

Last updated: 6 August 2026. This draft describes the invite-only Buzby Miniapps alpha and must be approved before external invitations.

What Buzby stores

Buzby stores your account identity, native conversation history, Tasks and Calendar records, miniapp source and built artifacts, miniapp configuration and instance-local storage, exact permissions, audit records and content-free product events. It records operational identifiers and counts needed for security, reliability, quotas and support.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate you, provide requested conversations and miniapps, execute exact Tasks or Calendar operations, operate and secure the service, recover data, enforce quotas and respond to support requests. Buzby does not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Generated miniapps

Generated code runs in an isolated browser frame on a separate origin. It receives no Buzby cookie or connector credential. Personal information is returned only through permissions granted to that exact miniapp. Permissions can be revoked in the miniapp or Buzby settings.

Installation and offline use

The installable shell does not cache Tasks, Calendar, conversation, signed runtime or authentication responses. When offline it shows a generic reconnection page. Operating systems retain ordinary installed-app metadata such as the app name and icon.

Processing and infrastructure

Buzby uses self-hosted and European infrastructure where reasonably possible. Model inference receives the conversation material necessary to answer or generate a miniapp. Service providers and exact retention arrangements will be listed in the approved notice before a broader release.

Retention, export and deletion

You can request an account export or deletion. Active account data is removed on deletion. Encrypted checkpoints, object versions and backups may remain inaccessible for up to 30 days before expiry. Security audit records retain identifiers and outcomes rather than conversation or connector content.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke miniapp permissions, stop using an installed app, export your account, request deletion, or contact support. Buzby registration remains closed and invitations are issued manually.
